BREAKING NEW: Mukhtar Ansari convicted in 1990 arms license case.

Mukhtar Ansari, a prominent figure in Indian politics with a controversial past, has been sentenced to life imprisonment in a 1990 arms license case. The court in Varanasi convicted him for obtaining an arms license through forged documents, specifically a double barrel gun license, and he was found guilty of criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery, and violations under the Arms Act.

 This recent development adds to his legal challenges as he has faced various convictions and sentences in different cases, including a 10-year jail term and hard labor in a 2009 Gangster Act case. The latest ruling on the fake arms license case marks another significant legal outcome for Mukhtar Ansari, who is currently serving time in Banda jail.
