UP Court hails CM Yogi Adityanath; says communal riots due to appeasement of one community

A court in Bareilly recently praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for being dedicated to his religious and political duties. They also said that communal riots in India happen because political parties try to please one particular religious group. The judge, Ravi Kumar Diwakar, said this when he called Maulana Tauqeer Razam to court for the 2010 Bareilly riots.

The judge said that when politicians try too hard to please one religious group, it makes people from that group feel very confident. They might even think they can get away with causing riots. The judge said that Razam seemed to be the one behind the riots, and the police didn’t do a good job of investigating him back in 2010. They also said that if it weren’t for Yogi Adityanath’s leadership in Uttar Pradesh, Razam’s recent speeches could have caused more trouble.

The judge compared Yogi Adityanath to Plato’s idea of a wise ruler who cares about everyone. They said leaders who are religious can make good decisions. The judge also said that our justice system takes too long to punish people, which encourages rioters.

The judge also talked about getting threats because of a case they were involved in before, and they’re worried about their family’s safety. They mentioned feeling scared even leaving their house. They feel like some people don’t like them because of their decisions in court.

The court’s decision in the 2010 Bareilly riots case said that Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan was the main person behind the riots. They criticized the authorities for not doing enough about him at the time. They’ve called Khan to appear in court on March 11.
